- Take 1 Chicken thigh meat (boneless)

Add the chicken to the bowl and toss to coat well. Scatter the spring onions and sesame seeds on top, then serve. In a small bowl, mix the miso, honey, mirin, rice vinegar and ginger. In a large, dry saucepan over low-medium heat, toast the sesame seeds, and then add the miso mixture.
Steps to make Red Miso Chicken Teriyaki:
- Cut the excess fat off the chicken thigh, and cut into bite sized pieces. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Combine the ★ ingredients.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, and pan fry the chicken with the skin side down. When it's browned, turn over, cover with a lid, turn the heat to low and steam-cook until it's done.
- When the chicken is cooked through remove the lid, and wipe out the excess oil and moisture in the pan. Swirl in the ★ ingredients.
- Turn the heat up a little and cook down the sauce. When it's thickened, turn off the heat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and it's done.
Add the rice, and mix well. Serve the cooked chicken (including any glaze from the pan) with the roasted potatoes and miso kale. Garnish the chicken with the sesame seeds. Marinated in a homemade all-purpose miso sauce and pan-fried till crispy, this Miso Chicken is very moist, flavorful, and delicious. Serve over steamed rice and drizzle extra miso sauce on top!
