  16. Prepare 2 cups water mixed with 1 tsp cornflour
  17. Take For the marinade:-
  18. Make ready 2 cups curd
  19. Take 1 tsp turmeric
  20. Take 1 tsp red chilli powder
  21. Prepare 1 tsp salt
  22. Make ready 1 tsp garam masala
  23. Make ready 1 tsp red food coloring
  24. Get 500 GMs boneless chicken breast cut in cubes
  25. Get 1 cup maida
  26. Prepare 1 cup corn flour
  27. Prepare as needed Oil for deep frying
Instructions to make Chilli Chicken Gravy:
  1. Keep the veggies chopped and ready for the gravy.
  2. Make the marinade with the chicken and marinade ingrediants mentioned above. Set aside in refrigerator for 15-20 mins.
  3. Deep fry the chicken cubes in oil. Drain on a tissue.
  4. Simultaneously in another pan with 2 tsp oil, dry off ajwain and mustard seeds, garlic, then add the other veggies. Keep frying on medium flame.
  5. Now add the salt, chilli powder, soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce and sugar. Mix well.
  6. Add the corn flour water if you desire gravy consistency. If you desire dry chilli chicken skip this step.
  7. Simmer for 6-10 mins in the uncovered pan. Let it bubble up.
  8. Finally add the fried chicken to the sauce and mix well. Continue to cook for 2 mins on low flame. Garnish with spring onions and coriander. Serve with rice/roti. Tastes great sandwiched between bread also!
