  5. Prepare 3 tbsp lemon juice
  6. Take 1 tbsp garam masala

  8. Take 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  9. Make ready 1/2 cup thick cream

Steps to make Green Chicken Tikka:
  1. Grind mint-coriander, green chillies, spinach leaves to a smooth paste.
  2. In a big mixing bowl combine the green paste,curd,garam masala,lime juice,ginger-garlic paste. Mix well and marinate the chicken pieces in the mixture for 5-6 hrs atleast.
  3. Grease a deep oven proof dish with oil & transfer the marinated chicken in this dish.
  4. Preheat oven to 200 degree & bake the chicken until done. Remove from the oven. Be careful not to overcook.
  5. For tandoori aroma- heat a piece of charcoal & place it in the prepared dish. Add a dash of oil/butter and immediately cover it with a lidso dat smoke stays inside. Let it stand for atleast 5-10 minutes. Remove the coal & serve hot.

Green Masala Sauce: In wok,add oil,fresh coriander,green chilies and mix well. Add yogurt,garam masala powder,salt,cumin powder,black pepper powder,nutmeg powder and mix well. For the marinade, used non-fat Greek plain yogurt, and marinated the chicken for four hours instead of two. Apply some oil on the skewers and arrange the pieces of chicken onto the skewers. Spread some more oil on top of the chicken pieces.
