- Make ready 450 gms Zorabian Chicken Mince
- Get 2 Potatoes (Cut into small pieces)
- Prepare 1 tbsp Curd
- Make ready 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Take Ground to a Paste:
- Take 1 cup Mint Leaves
- Get 1 cup Coriander Leaves
- Take 3-4 Green Chillies
- Take 2 " Ginger
- Take 5-6 cloves Garlic
- Make ready As required Oil/Butter
- Get For Whole Spices:
- Make ready 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- Prepare 2 Cardamoms
- Take 1 " Cinnamon Stick
- Get 2 Cloves
- Get Pinch Asafoetida
- Take 1 tsp Powdered Spices:
- Make ready 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Get 1 tsp Pepper Powder
- Get 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- Take 1 tbsp Chicken Masala
- Make ready For Garnish:
- Prepare 8-10 Sambar Onions
- Take 2-3 Green Chillies
- Get 2-3 Whole Dry Red Kashmiri Chillies
Add the chicken, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and fry for some time. Add the masala paste, salt and mix well with. Grind all the masala items together to make a smooth thick paste. Heat oil in a vessel and fry onions to golden brown.
Steps to make Green Masala Chicken Mince Curry:
- Wash the chicken mince and drain out the water completely. Keep aside.
- In a blender, blend together mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger and garlic to a smooth paste. Keep aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, add chicken mince, potatoes, lemon juice, curd, turmeric powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, chicken masala and salt. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a kadhai. Add whole red kashmiri chillies, green chillies and sambar onions and fry till the onions are translucent. Take out from oil and keep aside for garnish.
- In the same oil, add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add asafoetida, cardamoms, cinnamon and cloves.
- Add the ground paste and saute till oil appears at the surface.
- Add the marinated chicken mince and potatoes. Cook on medium flame for 2 minutes. Lower the flame and cover and cook till the mince and potatoes are cooked.
- Garnish with the fried sambar onions, green and red chillies.
- Serve hot with buttered pav.
Keep on stirring till masala color darkens up. Add the masala water and stir well. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
